During the afternoon of the 19th May 2016, one of my customers emailed me two pictures under the heading of “All the info I have: 1982 very solid and straight, all the lights and wipers work, all doors work fine, will need new windscreens (flat glass), 350 Chevy motor with TH400 transmission”, with “COULD WE TURN THIS INTO A COFFEE VAN?”
Never one to let a challenge go by, I answered: “It might be possible”. The next thing I knew, the vehicle was on a ship crossing the Atlantic toward the UK.
